A quick Puma5 update

It’s been quite a while since we last gave you an update about our Puma5 software. Hard work has been going on to improve the system; as usual, we’ve also listened to your requests and enhanced the software accordingly.

In the “Piping class component” form, for example, the ‘Copy to…’ command button has been added; this button is associated with the function that copies components from one piping class to the other. By using the ‘Check’ button, it is possible to check for the existence of the selected components in the destination piping class.

CLA, ELENA, update

New release for ELENA Server and ELENA Web Client

ELENA has reached the release No. 01.400.01.00, bringing you something new both for the Server and the Web Client module.

We would like to focus on the new ELENA CX plugin: according to the new CADWORX version, ELENA CX plugin has been updated and made suitable with this new version.

Configuration files ar easier to compile for the user and have mappings enhancements (DataBolted, DataFemale and ValveOperators sheet).

TMS, update

New release for TMS

The latest release of TMS (1.001.01.00) delivers four main new or improved features.
By clicking the “Progress Continuity Check” menu item TMS exports an Excel file with all the Progress Discontinuities detected in the different Progress Distributions; user can then manually edit the wrong Past Actual Progress for each detected discontinuity.

Puma5 upgrades to version 2.9

WARNING: this new release upgrades Puma5 from version 2.x to 2.9; to avoid any problems during the installation, please make sure that you ask for the new database license by opening a ticket on our support portal before running the upgrade (http://support.cla-it.com/).
New Material Take-off attributes, Weight management split by Vendors and a restyling of the Piping class header: this is part of the news coming from the latest release of Puma5 software by CLA. Let’s see in detail.

New release available for Welding Book

Welding Book has reached the release number 01.010.21.00, bringing you some brand new features. Let’s see in detail…

When a project has subcontractors, Welding Book now separates the activities regarding the different subcontractors associating them with the jobs they are assigned (that is, giving them their “work package“). For this reason, a registry has been added for each subcontractor to be filled in with all relevant information, together with the work package. A separate file can be exported for each subcontractor.

This 2.8 release of Puma5 is so packed with new features and improvements that we have created a slide presentation to show you in detail all the work that has been done. ELENA, update

New release for ELENA Server and ELENA Web Client

ELENA has reached the release No. 01.400.00.00, bringing you something new both for the Server and the Web Client module.

For ELENA server, we would like to focus on the new Formula Interpreter, an implementation that is available for all the plugins. The Formula Interpreter gives you the possibility of executing formulas on the input files and on the files generated in output. It is an expression interpreter that can be configured and used whenever mathematical calculations need to be done, values need to be added or modified in columns of the input and output files and operations need to be carried out on strings. To use the Interpreter, a new configuration file must be set, rule_formulas.xml, which is valid for all plugins.

TMS, update

New release of TMS

TMS, Technical Monitoring System, has reached the release No. 1.000.09.00. Many processes have been optimized: for example, deleting a TMS project and a subproject, removing the items from the “C3 Item Quantites” form, the “Project Workclass Structure” and “Project Workclass Progress” can be now executed faster.

A new command, “Main Project Settings“, has been added in the main TMS form to configure parameters for the current project.
